Sounds like a crime report doesn’t it?  However, the NUTTERS in this article gave themselves that name and the 10 years is not a sentence but an achievement!

10 years ago NWUK Instructor Kim Prince started her group of Nordic walkers and the quickly formed a sociable club called the NORDIC NUTTERS

Kim is an exercise referral specialist so she naturally attracted some walkers who found typical exercise difficult and the group became a lifeline as well as a tight knit group. Their legendary social outings and walks with tea at the luxury Rhinefield Hotel in the New forest were even featured in the Complete Guide to Nordic walking in 2014 and many told us how Nordic walking had helped them to become fitter than ever.

As you can see from the pictures we took at the time, they certainly seemed to have a lot of fun and we met several unforgettable characters too.

10 years later and despite COVID, they are still as strong as ever and have even produced a lovely calendar to mark the occasion

We will be proudly displaying at HQ in 2021 and we really hope the NUTTERS get to celebrate their anniversary together soon and enjoy many more walks in the future
