By the millennium, Gill had moved to the Private sector where she helped Mike build up his Health Club membership prior to its sale to a large chain. Gill remained at the helm, driving customer care, building the Membership and managing the renovation until taking a National role with the chain. Mike went on to develop the outdoor activity facility (Whitecap Leisure) which attracted over 1m visitors a year who enjoyed Watersports and Events, he added a Water ski cable tow before the site was also sold on in 2004

In 2004 Martin Christie was busy bringing Nordic Walking into the UK under the INWA banner and developing training courses with his business Partner Francis.

Innes Kerr was Marketing and Ops Director for Fitness First and became Executive Director for the Fitness Industry Association (now known as UK Active)
