We have been running our outdoor wilderness 2 day courses for over a year now but some of you have asked us for a one day courses as time is so precious.
So…….. here it is – Our partner the First Aid academy has worked with us to devise the PERFECT course for Nordic Walking Instructors and it only costs £72.00
The course has been designed to include everything you need to know if you operate in the urban park setting and are not venturing far from emergency service help such as the local ambulance service (i.e. not therefore needing Mountain rescue).
The course includes:-
– Recognition of vital signs
– Developing an accident / incident procedure
– Adult CPR
– Dealing with bleeding injuries
– Dealing with soft tissue injuries (sprains and strains)
These courses fill up really fast and places are limited so if you need to get your certificate renewed or are a new Instructor looking to get started, call Lisa on 0845 260 9339 to book your place today.
10th August – Milton Keynes
28th September 2013 – Sandwell – Birmingham
Alternatively, if you can spare two days – get yourself on the ultimate outdoor training and make sure you can cope with ANYTHING
The Outdoor Wilderness First Aid course concentrates on issues involved with the longer term care of casualties in remote environments. It is often referred to as a Wilderness First Aid course or a Remote First Aid course. A lot more emphasis is placed on incident management, monitoring casualties and relaying information to Rescue teams. We assume minimal equipment (similar to what is already on your back) and provide plenty of practical scenarios. COST £129.00 (usually £144.00).
