Team NWUK travelled North to the National Trust Grasmere Gallop last month and despite freezing temperatures, we had lots of fun meeting up with Nordic walkers from across the UK

This 10 k race for Nordic walkers is an annual event that has grown year on year and is a MUST for any groups looking for a challenge combined with a great sociable weekend away in the stunning Lake District!

We were delighted to see NWUK Instructors taking most of the winning slots and enjoyed watching the looks of satisfaction and achievement  on the faces of each and every competitor to cross the line.

Book next years date 4th June 2016 into your diary and encourage your group to come along. We would love as many other groups as possible to join them to take part in this half Marathon event. The CHICHESTER HALF MARATHON on Sunday 11th October has positively embraced Nordic Walking and has even got designated prizes for the Nordic walking category.
