The community physiotherapy team in Dorchester hosted their first Activator pole walking for rehabilitation workshop in early 2018 . Those who attended reported some great outcomes with patients that there was soon demand for our Team to return for a second workshop later that year. Now with over 30 Physiotherapists and Physio assistants trained to use Activator walking poles with their patients, we are also seeing many being signposted to wellness WALX in the area so they can remain active in a supported group. Those with long term medical conditions can also purchase their own set of Activator poles vat free as part of the scheme which is helping people right
